Something new is taking flight in Montclair.

PerchedIN is where we’ll share the Montclair worth knowing—the longtime favorites, tucked-away finds, interesting people and history hiding in plain sight.

We’re two longtime friends who have spent years living, working, walking, shopping and drinking far too much coffee in Montclair. And yet, we know there is always more to discover.

A side street you’ve never wandered down. A business you’ve passed a hundred times but never stepped inside. A building with a story you had no idea existed. A local person you keep hearing about and suddenly need to meet.

That’s where PerchedIN comes in.

We’ll officially launch in October, but right now we’re out and about meeting local business owners, gathering stories and building partnerships with the people and organizations that know Montclair best.

We want PerchedIN to feel like it comes from the community, because the best local recommendations rarely come from a search bar. They come from a neighbor, a friend or someone leaning across the counter to tell you where you really need to go.
